cancellation conditions

Our conditions

When a reservation has been made and confirmed [ in all possible ways ], the following applies for a cancellation of that reservation:

Cancellations individuals up to 20 persons;

* For cancellations more than 14 days before the reserved day, no compensation will be due.

* If canceled 14 days or less before the reserved day, the guest will owe 25% of the reservation value.

* If canceled 7 days or less before the reserved day, the guest will owe 50% of the reservation value.

* If canceled 3 days or less before the reserved day, the guest will owe 75% of the reservation value

* With no-show [ cancellation on the reserved  date ] we are forced to charge 100% of the reservation value.

Note: For reservations made less than 7 days before the reserved date, cancellation or no-show will automatically result in 100% of the booking value being charged.

 

 

Cancellations Groups of 20 people or more

* If you cancel more than 30 days before the reserved day, no compensation will be due.

*If canceled 30 days or less before the reserved day, the group will owe 25% of the reservation value.

*If canceled 15 days or less before the reserved day, the group will owe 50% of the reservation value.

*If canceled 6 days or less before the reserved day, the group will owe 75% of the reservation value.

*In the event of a no-show [cancellation on the reserved day], we are forced to charge 100% of the reservation value.

Note: For reservations made within the cancellation period, the applicable percentages apply immediately from the moment of booking.

Reservations on closed days / special openings

For reservations on days when we open specifically for a group, additional terms apply, depending on the day, time, and size of the group.

Additional conditions:

  • We may open on alternative days for groups of 30 guests or more, up to a maximum of approximately 55 guests.

  • If the number of guests drops below 30 due to individual cancellations, a buyout fee of €90 per person below the minimum will apply, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • For special arrangements, this amount can be adjusted.

 

  • Fixed costs upon cancellation

    When a private hire reservation is confirmed, we open specifically for the group and hire staff and other services.

    • In the event of cancellation of the private hire, regardless of the 30-day rule, a fixed fee of €500 will be charged for the engagement of Drags and any staff already hired.

    • These costs are outside the normal cancellation percentages and are always due upon cancellation after confirmation.


    Additional hire and materials

    • If additional items must be purchased or hired for the private hire (e.g., glasses, tableware, flowers, tablecloths, etc.), these costs will be charged separately and are fully payable by the client, even in case of cancellation.

    • This applies from the moment the additional purchases or hire are finalized.


    Confirmation and liability

    • By confirming a private hire reservation, the client agrees to these additional terms.

    • We reserve the right not to refund costs if already hired items or staff cannot be canceled free of charge.

  • Other important rules

    • For reservations 3 months or more in advance, the terms for groups of 20 or more guests always apply, regardless of the number of guests.

    • If the number of reservations on a specific date does not meet the minimum required to organize a show evening, we reserve the right to cancel the evening.

    • For any changes made within the cancellation period, an additional fee of €5 per person will be charged. Rescheduling is only possible within the same fiscal year.
    • In the case of a cancellation after a previous rescheduling, 100% of the booking value will be charged.


    Options

    • Options are granted with a pre-agreed 7-day expiration period. An option that is not converted into a confirmed reservation by the client before the expiration date will be considered void.


    Reservations / Changes

    • Changes to a reservation must be communicated via email. Changes on the day itself must also be communicated by phone.

    • The final number of guests must be communicated at least 14 days (small groups) or 30 days (large groups) before the event via email.

    • If the actual number of guests is lower than the final number provided, the reserved number will still be charged.

    • If the final number is underestimated, please note that less staff may be present and refreshments may be insufficient. The actual number of attendees will still be charged.

    • Rescheduling a reservation is not regarded as a cancellation, but as a change of date.

      Rescheduling is only possible for the full originally reserved number of guests. Partial rescheduling or reduction in the number of guests is not permitted.

      A reservation may only be rescheduled once and exclusively within the same calendar year.

      In case of rescheduling within the applicable cancellation period, but more than 72 hours prior to the reserved date, an administrative fee of €5 per originally reserved guest will be charged.

      In case of rescheduling within 72 hours prior to the reserved date, a fee of 25% of the total reservation value will be charged.

      If a reservation is cancelled after having been rescheduled previously, 100% of the reservation value will be due.


    These terms apply to all our reservations and are deposited with the Amsterdam Chamber of Commerce.

    We reserve the right to modify or adjust these terms at any time. The terms in effect at the time of your booking confirmation will apply to your reservation.
